Hearing Awareness week launch night - 25 Aug28 July 2008 The Deafness Forum's Hearing Awareness Week theme for 2008 is “One in Six” which serves as a reminder that 3.55 Million Australians have some form of hearing impairment. The Deafness Council of NSW is launching this year's Hearing Awareness Week in Sydney with a celebration held at the home of Australian Hearing in Chatswood.
